Diploma CET 2018 is the exam conducted by Karnataka education authority for admission to 2nd year engineering courses and for 1st year architecture course under lateral entry scheme for both day and evening engineering colleges.

To join Engineering the student should take up lateral entry exam that is nothing but CET. Diploma CET syllabus mostly revolves under the subjects that they studied in there 3 years of diploma. Every year almost 12000 students take up Diploma CET. The advantage of doing Diploma is that student will get a direct entry to second year of Engineering.
